Excellent studio monitors. I was looking for a model with a smaller footprint but a bass woofer of at least 6' as I didn't want a subwoofer in the setup. Also front ports as I need to place the speakers close to the wall. I haven't set up SonarID yet, but it's also one of the reasons I chose this model, as I can't acoustically adjust the listening room well. But even the DSP settings are sufficient. The Ribon tweeters have a beautiful sound. Overall the rendering is great. A7V meets all the criteria mentioned above. I recommend it with all ten. What I expected and caught me by surprise is the absence of an automatic sleep mode after turning off the inputs.
