A good all solid guitar made with quality materials. I compared the sound of this guitar with the Yamaha FS 830. It sounded a little better than the FS 830, better sustain and a little fuller sound. The FS 830 had a little more harmonics. I changed the bridge (saddle) with tusq graphtech and the nails (bridge pins) also with tusq graphtech and the sound changed a lot. Now it sounds louder especially E low with a lot of harmonics (overtones) especially on the B and E high strings and the mids are more present. I also changed the saddle with bone on the FS 830 and the nails (btidge pins) with brass and the sound became better but not as much as on the LS-TA. Now it really doesn't need an acoustic trans anymore it sounds so good. The sound on the acoustic trans also improves. I deducted a point because the edge is a bit sharp and I had to put an armrest for the saddle and the string pins. Now it's a great sounding guitar that looks great. Comparing the guitar to a Takamine GD 90ZC it has a better sound, fuller, more harmonic but the Takamine has a better tonal balance and looks better and comparing it to the Takamine P7JC the quality of the materials (woods) is better on the Takamine as well as the electronics and the sound is more balanced and warmer on the Takamine, it's a different category of quality.
