Wet Leg is an English indie rock band from the Isle of Wight, formed in 2019 by Rhian Teasdale and Hester Chambers. After gaining attention with their debut single Chaise Longue in 2021, they released their self-titled album in 2022, which reached number one in both the UK and Australia and earned them major awards, including Grammys and Brit Awards. The group later expanded to a five-piece with Josh Mobaraki, Ellis Durand, and Henry Holmes. Their acclaimed second album, Moisturizer, was released in 2025 and also topped the UK charts. Wet Leg draws inspiration from artists like PJ Harvey, the White Stripes, and the Strokes.
