Sennheiser E614 Overhead microphone
Super-cardioid condenser microphone that is designed for demanding instrument recordings and performances that require extended frequency response from 40 Hz to 20 kHz, high SPL handling, fast transient response and compact size. While drum set overhead miking was the first design priority, it also works exceptionally well on percussion setups as well, fitting comfortably into tight setups and capturing the shimmer and the contact of sticks, mallets and hands. The microphone can handle high SPLs (up to 139 dB, passive) and features medium sensitivity (-50 dB), which ensures reduced bleed from other instruments on stage. Because of its excellent acoustic properties, it is also ideal for home recording. A microphone pouch and a microphone clip MZQ 100 are included. Nominal impedance: 50 Ohm.
