The MCD2 Pro features two of Samson's STLX Mu-Metal shielded transformers that deliver an extended, flat frequency response with ultra-low distortion and superior protection against hum and RF interference.
The
MCD2 Pro's balanced outputs provide clean signals that are less
susceptible to noise than unbalanced lines, allowing for longer cable
runs. The MCD2 Pro features dual 1/4", RCA and a stereo 1/8" input to
accommodate any line level instrument or consumer audio connection. Its
selectable Stereo/Mono sum switch allows users to accommodate typical
mono "house" PA systems. Additionally, a 2-position 0dB/-12dB
attenuation switch provides users with ample headroom to handle hotter
inputs. Housed in a 14-gauge steel chassis, the MCD2 Pro is built to
withstand the abuse of the most demanding live tours. Its rigid outer
shell protects all the MCD2 Pro's internal connections, switches and
solder joints from failure, ensuring quiet, reliable performance.
