I bought it in the first place just to keep my telecaster deluxe guitar from gathering dust at home. It serves that purpose. If I had to take the guitar to rehearsals or concerts, I would look for a more serious case (e.g. Boss CB-EG10). In any case, the fact that the guitar fits comfortably inside, has large external pockets and the neck can rest on the neck rest is a plus.
