The PRS SE Swamp Ash Special in Iri Blue 2026 is a unique departure in the SE lineup, placing a premium swamp ash body at the heart of a versatile three-pickup configuration. Swamp ash is prized for its lightweight nature and resonant qualities — delivering tight lows, a rich midrange bloom, and airy, twangy high-end character.
A bolt-on maple neck with a Wide Thin profile connects to a 22-fret maple fingerboard (25" scale, 10" radius) with bird inlays. The three-pickup arrangement pairs two 85/15 "S" humbuckers flanking a PRS-designed AS-01 single-coil in the middle position. The AS-01 uses a combination of alnico and steel for a focused, powerful output. A push/pull tone control and 3-way selector unlock six distinct pickup combinations, while the PRS Patented tremolo adds expressive pitch-shifting capability.
Lightweight construction makes this guitar ideal for long rehearsals and gig performances. Includes a PRS gig bag.
