Petr Muk (1965–2010) was a prominent Czech pop musician, composer, and performer known in both the Czech Republic and Slovakia. He began his music career in his teens playing with underground punk bands before leading the influential synth-pop groups Oceán and Shalom, both inspired by the English duo Erasure. Muk later pursued a successful solo career, performing in musicals and operas and covering songs by well-known Czech artists. He passed away in Prague in 2010.
