Marcus Füreder, known professionally as Parov Stelar, is an Austrian musician, producer, composer, and DJ recognized as a pioneer of electro swing. His signature sound combines electronic beats with jazz, swing, and blues, blending vintage samples and brass with modern rhythms. Rising to international prominence in 2004 with his EP "KissKiss" and the album "Rough Cuts," Parov Stelar quickly became a defining figure in the electro swing scene through hits like "Catgroove," "Booty Swing," and "All Night." His tracks are widely featured in films, commercials, and TV shows, and have earned top chart positions, as well as platinum and double platinum certifications across Europe. Performing live with the Parov Stelar Band since 2005, he has played major festivals such as Coachella, Glastonbury, and Sziget, and filled venues worldwide. In addition to ten studio albums and numerous EPs, his creative work extends to the visual arts, with exhibitions in galleries around the globe. Parov Stelar is one of Austria’s most internationally successful artists and has been honored with multiple Amadeus Austrian Music Awards.
