Numark Party Mix MKIII DJ Controller

Numark Party Mix MKIII — A 2-Deck DJ Controller With Built-In Light Show

The Numark Party Mix MKIII is a compact 2-deck DJ controller that pairs hands-on mixing with a built-in LED light show for first-time DJs and bedroom performers. A 24-bit / 48 kHz built-in sound card delivers clean audio without any driver installation, while class-compliant USB-C and Bluetooth Low Energy MIDI connect to laptops, tablets, and smartphones running Serato DJ Lite or Algoriddim djay. Beginners who want one piece of gear that covers mixing, cueing, looping, and lighting in a single portable package will find everything they need here.

Stems Control and Fade FX Set This Controller Apart

What separates this controller from entry-level rivals is Stems control: dedicated Acapella and Instrumental buttons strip vocals from a track on the fly, while eight performance pads per deck unlock Hot Cue, Auto Loop, Sampler, Pad FX, and Stems modes. Fade FX adds EQ and effects automatically as the crossfader moves.

Audio Quality and Connectivity That Travels With You

The built-in sound card, USB-C bus power, and Bluetooth MIDI remove every cable and driver from the setup. Plug-and-play means the controller is recognised instantly by Serato DJ Lite, Algoriddim djay, djay Pro, and VirtualDJ.

• Audio Resolution: 24-bit / 48 kHz — clean signal for headphone cueing and main output
• USB Power: 5V ⎓ 500 mA bus-powered
• Wireless MIDI: Bluetooth Low Energy, Bluetooth 4.2+ — cable-free control of djay on iOS and Android

Performance Controls Designed for Fast Learning Curves

The 2-deck layout mirrors club-standard gear, with touch-sensitive jog wheels for scratching and pitch sliders for tempo matching. Eight pads per deck double the count of the previous Party Mix generation.

• Performance Pads: 8 per deck — Hot Cue, Auto Loop, Sampler, Stems, Pad FX, Beat Jump
• EQ per Channel: 3-band EQ plus Filter knob
• Jog Wheels: 2 large touch-sensitive platters

Portable Build and Bundled Software for Instant Play

At 1.1 kg and roughly the footprint of a small laptop, the controller slips into a backpack for house parties or hotel warm-ups. The integrated LED light show pulses with the mix.

• Dimensions: 339 x 205 x 47 mm
• Weight: 1.1 kg
• Included Software: Serato DJ Lite and Algoriddim djay (free); Serato DJ Pro and VirtualDJ (paid licence)
• Outputs: 1x 3.5 mm TRS main, 1x 3.5 mm TRS headphone

Who This Controller Is Built For

The Numark Party Mix MKIII is the right choice for first-time DJs, bedroom producers, and party hosts who want an all-in-one rig that mixes audio and lights. Beginners benefit from Beat Align visual indicators, dedicated Sync buttons, and bundled Crossfader video lessons. Mobile performers will appreciate Bluetooth MIDI control of djay on a phone or tablet, plus USB-C bus power.

The Party Mix Lineage and What's New in the MKIII

The Party Mix line has been a long-running entry point in Numark's controller catalogue, evolving through multiple generations aimed at new DJs. This third-generation model doubles the pad count of its predecessor and introduces Stems control, Fade FX, and Bluetooth MIDI as standard. Numark positions the MKIII as a stepping stone from bedroom practice to small-venue performance, with included licences for both Serato DJ Lite and Algoriddim djay.
