Planetary tuned gong from Sonic Energy series that has a diameter of 32 inches/810 mm and is made in Germany in the European gong-making tradition. Using the calculations of Hans Cousto (The Cosmic Octave) to match the frequencies of Mars, it is tuned to produce the corresponding frequency of 144.72 Hz (D2) on an A4= 400-433.67 Hz scale. This gong is handcrafted from nickel-silver by the gong makers to respond with great sensitivity in all playing applications and its mysterious sound comes from the countless hours spent hand-working the metal.
