Planetary tuned gong from Sonic Energy series that has a diameter of 28 inches/710 mm and is made in Germany in the European gong-making tradition. Using the calculations of Hans Cousto (The Cosmic Octave) to match the frequencies of Jupiter, it is tuned to produce the corresponding frequency of 183.58 Hz (F2#) on an A4= 400-436.63 Hz scale. This gong is handcrafted from nickel-silver by the gong makers to respond with great sensitivity in all playing applications and its mysterious sound comes from the countless hours spent hand-working the metal.
