Basically, the cover is not the most beautiful, but that's a matter of taste. It's a bit gnome-like from the outside, you can only see it when you look at it up close. It's not particularly nice from the inside, but it's made of some light wood, but laminated material. What really annoyed me was that in the middle, in front, and on top, the Chinese miracle slave made a great damage, so that I could feel the care, whoever buys it! I originally bought it just as a box, (!!!), because for that much I can't do the woodwork myself, plus the faux leather, handles, etc., and I wanted to make it "Marschall sound". And here comes the surprise!!! I looked all over the internet to see what an HH Laney speaker is, and I found a comparison, very correct (!), between some current new and old Celestions, and the Laney HH speaker. This HH Laney sounded very close to a 1986 Vintage 30!!! So I listened to the box (I opened it), and it was able to create such an amazingly good "Marschall sound" that I couldn't spit or swallow. I didn't buy a Marshall box in the first place because they are equipped with speakers that are NOT NEEDED in the first place! This one is labeled Laney, but it sounds just like I wanted it to! So I can highly recommend it, it sounds much better than you would think, and it's relatively very cheap (!!!???), because you don't have to put two Celestions in it!
