Lacuna Coil is a gothic metal band from Milan, Italy, formed in 1994. Originally known as Sleep of Right and later as Ethereal, they have released ten studio albums and built an international following. Lacuna Coil’s music blends heavy riffs with atmospheric melodies and dual male and female vocals. Their 2012 album Dark Adrenaline reached number 15 on the Billboard 200 chart. The band has received several awards, including the Metal Hammer Award for Best International Band and the Metal Female Voices Fest Award for Best Album.
