And this is where I was surprised, because the Joyo Uzi's sound is, in my opinion, a first-rate full "tube" sound. It is easily customisable with the 3 knob EQ, and a separate control to set an American-British style. Well crafted, nicely built, and with excellent sound quality. I learned after the fact that it is probably a clone of the Friedman BE-OD. So you can get that sound for a fraction of the price of the former pedal.
