Thanks to these changes, this shape delivers a richer low mids and better body to weight balance, which conventional Auditorium bodies tend to lack. Ibanez developed its proprietary X-M bracing specifically for Advanced Auditorium guitar bodies to produce the ultimate sound for the stage and studio. The solid Sapele top delivers a warm, full tone. Sapele back and sides offer a full-bodied and warm mid-range and a bright tone. The Low Oval Okoume neck grip facilitates easy chord strumming. The Purpleheart bridge transfers string vibration directly to the body, delivering a natural and warm tone. The Ibanez AEQ-TP2 preamp provides the extra punch of on-board EQ along with a convenient and easy-to-read digital tuner and 2-band EQ, located on the instrument’s upper bout.
