Thanks to these changes, this shape delivers a richer low mids and better body to weight balance, which conventional Auditorium bodies tend to lack. The carefully designed scalloped X-M bracing, tone braces, and finger braces efficiently transmit string vibration from the bridge to the body. This bracing provides a wide dynamic range and excellent response. Solid Sitka Spruce top provides an enormous frequency range that offers wave after wave of shimmering highs along with tight mids and a full-bodied low end. The African Mahogany back and sides offer full-bodied warm mid range. The Low Oval neck grip facilitates easy chord strumming and the Rounded Fretboard Edges deliver superior playability. Thermo Aging, a special drying process, makes the neck light and hard and provides excellent stability and enhanced resonance. Rosewood fretboard provides a well-balanced solid tone with a focused mid range. The lightweight, Rosewood scalloped bridge improves vibration efficiency for better resonance and provides more flexibility in adjusting the action than does a typical bridge. The Ibanez T-bar Undersaddle pickup accurately translates that full sound to whatever amplification system you plug it into. The guitar also features on-board treble and bass controls for contouring the tone, making the AA suitable for variety of applications for modern players.
