Hollie Cook, born in 1987 in West London, is an English singer and keyboardist known for blending reggae, rocksteady, and classic pop influences. She was a member of the final line-up of the iconic all-female punk and reggae band the Slits. Launching her solo career in 2010, Cook teamed up with producer Prince Fatty and released her debut album in 2011. Describing her sound as "tropical pop," she channels inspiration from reggae greats like Janet Kay and Phyllis Dillon, as well as 1960s girl groups.
