Guild F-240E Natural electro-acoustic guitar

Jumbo shape at a player's price, the F-240E is an affordable tone cannon. Built with a solid spruce top, mahogany sides, and an arched mahogany back, the full-bodied and powerful voice of this Guild Jumbo provides guitarists with historically-Guild acoustic tone and voicing. Guild’s signature arched back design allows for enhanced volume and projection, long sustain, and a lush, full sound. The F-240E features Guild’s Fishman-designed AP-1 electronics, a pau ferro fingerboard and bridge, bone nut and saddle, mother-of-pearl rosette, period-correct tortoiseshell pickguard, and a satin polyurethane finish. Available in Natural.

Neck

Neck: Mahogany

The guitar features a mahogany neck for excellent strength and stability. Mahogany is known for its great resonance, contributing to a warm, rich tone with a distinctive mid-range.

Fretboard

Fretboard: Pau Ferro

Pau Ferro is a medium hard wood with a fine texture and brown tones with a fine grain. It offers a clear, articulate tone with a fast response. The Pau Ferro fingerboard is valued for its smoothness and stability, while providing a comfortable feel and aesthetic appearance. It is a popular alternative to rosewood with similar sound characteristics.
