What's Included
A shell pack only: drums, a bass drum riser, and a tom holder. Cymbals, stands, and hardware are sold separately, so you can pair the kit with your own preferred setup. The Satin Walnut Glaze lacquer gives the shells a classic stage look.
Shell Material: Mahogany
Mahogany is a rich, warm-toned wood known for its deep and mellow sound. When used in drum shells, mahogany offers a smooth, rounded tone with enhanced low-end warmth and a pronounced midrange. The sound is typically more subdued in the high frequencies, which results in a more vintage feel. Mahogany shells are ideal for genres like blues, jazz, and classic rock where a deeper, more resonant tone is desired.
Number of Plies: 7
The number of layers affects the overall resonance, sustain, and tonal qualities of the drums. With 7 layers, the sound becomes even more focused, providing a deeper low-end response and a tighter midrange, while maintaining smooth and controlled high frequencies.
