Gibson Les Paul Standard 50s Double Trouble Vintage Cherry Sunburst Electric guitar
The Les Paul Standard 50s Double Trouble delivers all the features and performance of our regular Les Paul Standard 50s models but with even more vintage appeal. These limited-run Les Paul models differ from our standard Les Paul Standard 50s models in two respects:
- Pickups: The Burstbucker 1 and Burstbucker 2 pickups are left uncovered, each has Double Classic White bobbins and is fitted with the standard Alnico 2 magnets.
- Finish: The finish colors are “Vintage” variations of our standard nitrocellulose lacquer finishes. Our standard gloss nitrocellulose lacquer finishes represent the finishes on brand-new models from the 1950s, while the full-gloss nitrocellulose lacquer Vintage finishes on the Les Paul Standard 50s Double Trouble models are slightly faded when compared to the standard versions, like the subtly faded light vintage aging that occurs over several years. The burst patterns vary somewhat from guitar to guitar since each is individually hand-sprayed.
- A solid, non-weight-relieved mahogany body with an AA figured maple top
- A rounded 50s Vintage-style mahogany neck with a rosewood fretboard
- 22 medium jumbo frets and trapezoid inlays
- An ABR-1, the classic-style Tune-O-Matic bridge
- An aluminum StopBar tailpiece
- Vintage Deluxe tuners with Keystone buttons
- Aged gold Top Hat knobs with dial pointers
Тype: Les Paul
Les Paul is an iconic electric guitar made by Gibson, introduced in 1952. It has a solid body, usually made of mahogany, with a maple top. This gives it a rich sustain and a full, warm tone. It features humbucker pickups that minimize noise and offer a powerful, distorted sound. Les Paul is popular in rock, blues, and heavy metal.
Body: Mahogany
Mahogany is a dense wood that produces a warm, full tone with rich bass and a strong mid-range. It is known for its excellent sustain and resonance, giving it a deep and round sound.
Neck: Mahogany
The guitar features a mahogany neck for excellent strength and stability. Mahogany is known for its great resonance, contributing to a warm, rich tone with a distinctive mid-range.
Fretboard: Rosewood
Rosewood is a dark, dense wood that offers a warm, rich tone with excellent response and sustain. The rosewood fingerboard is valued for its smoothness and comfortable feel while offering durability and longevity. It is popular for its rich sound and classic aesthetic.
Pickups Configuration: HH
The humbucker-humbucker configuration means that the guitar is equipped with two humbucker pickups. It offers a powerful, full sound with high output and low noise, ideal for rock and metal.
