It was completely original, not repackaged or anything like that. At the nut (someone's mother, some one's walnut), the varnish is scraped off on both sides of the nut, and the varnish is missing, the wood is bare!!! Of course, it's only a few mm, but this is not an amateur guitar builder's garage, but a Fender! It's being returned. The problem is that this is the umpteenth Fender neck that is seriously defective, but most have problems! Even the 240-250 thousand necks are full of aesthetic and grinding defects! The Fender neck will not fit into the Fender neck pocket, because the neck is angular instead of curved, it is poorly machined!
