The Miracord 50 Turntable from ELAC features a built-in preamp and a pre-mounted Audio-Technica AT91 MM cartridge, so you can play your 33 1/3 and 45 rpm records out of the box with just a simple RCA connection to your existing audio system. The Miracord 50 is a manual turntable, which means you place the needle onto the record by hand, giving you complete control of vinyl playback. The aluminum die-cast platter is spun via a belt-drive motor. The belt-drive motor, being isolated from the platter, helps to keep vibration through the tonearm at a minimum.
