The Cascha Guitarlele is - as the name suggests - a hybrid of a guitar and a ukulele. Visually, it resembles a ukulele, but it has six strings like a standard guitar and not only four (like the ukulele). With an overall length of 73 cm, it turns out to be slightly larger than the typical tenor ukulele. The scale length of 43 cm corresponds to that of a 1/8 concert guitar for children, but the guitarlele is tuned differently - one fifth higher. Tuning to E-A-D-G-H-E also results in a much higher sound, which provides the typical Hawaiian flair of a ukulele.
The six strings make it especially easy for guitarists to switch to the guitarlele. Nevertheless, the Cascha Guitarlele is also a perfect instrument for beginners to the world of stringed instruments, as it is very easy and comfortable to play. It is suitable as a solo instrument as well as for accompanying other musicians and instruments.
The body and neck of the Cascha Guitarlele Mahogany are made entirely of mahogany, one of the most popular woods in guitar making with a warm, balanced sound. Fingerboard and bridge are made of dark rosewood, which gives a nice visual contrast. In addition, the "Red Tortoise" binding on the body and rosette is a very special eye-catcher and gives the Cascha Guitarlele a classic and very classy look.
The two integrated strap pins allow you to attach ukulele straps for comfortable playing of the Cascha Guitarlele even when standing.
