Daumen hoch!

The Nextone is probably the most underrated transistor amp on the market. I'm glad I switched from the Katana Artist to the Nextone. Why? Because the Nextone is currently, alongside the Boss/Roland Bluescube, probably the transistor amp that comes closest to a tube amp in terms of sound. It feels like a tube, sounds like a tube - with a few compromises - but doesn't have the disadvantages of tube amps such as weight and wear. With a little experience in amplifier settings, you can get very close to your personal dream sound. The difference to the Katana Artist is that it always sounds a bit like a hi-fi or produced track, whereas the Nextone sounds more like a guitar amp. And it basically behaves like a tube amp. If you don't want modeling, but at the same time want top analog sound without gimmicks, the Boss Nextone is a great choice. It's not a Katana. It's not a metal amp either. This is a really good guitar amplifier with a vintage attitude, suitable for the stage in terms of volume, but also suitable for the living room thanks to the power control. In the custom tone area of the amp, for example, there is a Bluesbreaker setting that really amazed me. The voicings of various Fender and Vox models are also really close. See also https://youtu.be/_QZOeXHB8AQ Overall, absolutely awesome. People who love Fender, Vox and Marshall combos will get their money's worth! If you're interested, you should definitely buy the larger "Artist". The "Stage" sounds a bit "boxy" because of the smaller housing, especially in the lead channel. It takes pedals fantastically well, by the way, there is hardly any difference between the behavior of real tube amps and pedals and the Nextone in my opinion. I also picked it up at Muziker for an incredible special price. Contrary to my skepticism, it was new, in its original packaging and was delivered quickly. Thumbs up!
