Apparat is the stage name of German electronic musician Sascha Ring, born in 1978. Initially known for dancefloor-focused techno, he later moved towards a more ambient, sound-driven style. He was a co-owner of Shitkatapult records and is also a member of the electronic group Moderat, formed with Modeselektor.
