V-AMP by Antelope Audio is a high-fidelity preamp and cabinet emulation plugin designed to bring the warmth of tube circuitry directly into the DAW. It models a common-cathode tube stage with precision, providing a controlled range of gain behaviour from light saturation to full overdrive, with an emphasis on accuracy and signal integrity.

Tube Stage Emulation

V-AMP faithfully recreates the non-linear characteristics of a common-cathode tube amplifier stage. The signal path incorporates precision filtering, oversampling, non-linear processing, and anti-aliasing stages, with a dedicated DC-removal filter to maintain clarity at higher gain levels.

Cabinet Convolution Engine

The integrated cabinet convolution engine is based on circular convolution and features five cabinet models measured with multiple microphone configurations. Users can choose from a selection of virtual microphone models including dynamic and condenser types in mono and stereo configurations.

Comprehensive Controls

V-AMP includes Drive, Crunch, a three-band tone stack, Presence, Bass Boost, Master Volume, and independent input and output gain stages. From subtle warmth to full-throttle overdrive, it delivers the technical depth to satisfy engineers while remaining intuitive for creative use. Available in AAX, VST3, and AU formats.
