Eb alto saxophone that is an improved version of Yamaha's Classic 62 Series model – the instrument that revolutionized the world of the saxophone and became the first serious challenge to the famous instruments of the past. This improved model offers surprising value for money and is suitable for virtually any musical genre, providing a highly expressive tone, accurate intonation and comfortable playability. One of the biggest new improvements is the G1 neck, which provides a better response and more playing flexibility. Also, the entire body has been annealed for a rich resonant sound. Other features include high F# key, tapered and nylon tipped pivot screw with head and adjustable thumb hook. The saxophone is supplied with a fabric covered hard case and a Yamaha 4C mouthpiece, a sling, an external cleaning cloth, a cork grease and a sample reed. Gold Lacquer finish.
New 62 Style Neck - A slightly narrower bore provides a faster response and greater control. The new 62 style neck allows a comfortable flow of air so that every player can attain a solid tonal core.
