Limited-edition all-tube 30W RMS combo amplifier from Custom series that meticulously replicate every detail from VOX's two-tone coloured amps which appeared in the 1960’s and dominated the world thanks to their use at the time by ground-breaking English rock and roll bands. The blue and cream colouring with its instantly recognizable aesthetic, the thick gold piping laid in the joints of the two-tone covering, and of course the highly retro TV-front design of the cabinet – all the features are still there. The amplifier offers two channels; Normal and Top-Boost. Each channel is equipped with its own Volume control, and the Top Boost channel offers highly interactive Treble and Bass tone controls. This powerful channel pairing provides an abundance of tone-crafting control, letting user dial in a classic tone. Both channels rely on the Tone Cut and Volume controls in the Master section. The Tone Cut control operates in the power stage rather than the preamp stage, allowing an additional degree of tone-shaping. The Master Volume control works in conjunction with the individual volumes of each channel to create just the right degree of gain-staging. By balancing the individual and Master volumes, the amplifier can deliver the coveted clean VOX "chimey" sound or a powerful overdriven tone – and everything in between. The amplifier is equipped with three 12AX7 preamp tubes and four EL84 power tubes, and two 12” Celestion G12M Greenback speakers. It provides FX LOOP return and send jacks, a footswitch jack and an output for extension speaker. A power cable is included. Dimensions: 703 x 263 x 562 mm. Weight: 31 kg.
