I put this on a vitage racing bike. They run smoothly, no vibrations, no noise, they look really "retro" with whitewalls. I didn't feel any "protection" like you usually do on Schwalbe Marathon for instance, where you can feel the thickened layer that protects the tyre. The producer claims it is kevlar protected. So far so good, no punctures yet. It doesn't like very high pressure so don't expect to be competitive against someone with ultrathin tubulars with 11000 psi of pressure ... This is made for smooth easy 20-40 km/h cruising. For this price it is absolutely brilliant.
