Ibanez AC240E Natural Open Pore

Electro-acoustic guitar with Grand Concert body shape from Artwood series that was crafted to produce a traditional as well as a modern guitar – this model therefore respects the rich tradition of the acoustic guitar while adding modern interpretations in the search for the ultimate in guitar tone. It features a solid mahogany top with abalone rosette that, combined with mahogany back and sides, provides warm and rich sound. The body further features black binding and black back strip inlay. The mahogany neck, connected via dovetail joint, is fitted with a 400mm-radius rosewood fingerboard with maple dot inlays and 20 frets. Scale length is 634 mm, nut width is 45 mm. The guitar is equipped with the Fishman Sonicore piezo pickup and the Ibanez AEQ-SP2 preamp with on-board tuner that delivers excellent reproduction and control of tonal characteristics and easy operation, while 1/4" and XLR outputs provide options for a variety of direct plug-in applications. Preamp requires 9V battery for operation. Other features include Grover chrome die-cast tuners with half-moon knobs, bone string nut, rosewood bridge with compensated bone saddle and D’Addario EXP11 Coated 80/20 Bronze, Light strings (.012-.053). The bridge is equipped with the Ibanez Advantage bridge pins that are easier to take out and easier to put in than standard pins. A special bulb-shaped end makes the pin easy to grip and also prevents the pin from being pushed in too far. Natural colour design with open pore finish.
