The pickups have matched coil windings for classic humbucker tone with enhanced highs and are wax potted to suppress feedback. Their sound can be controlled by two Volume and two Tone controls and by Rhythm/Treble switch. The instrument features a 3-ply maple/poplar/maple body with black binding and high-gloss nitrocellulose lacquer finish, delivering beautiful sound that resonates within the hollow airspace of the body around the f-holes and throughout the solid glue joints. One-piece maple neck has a rounded "C" profile and features modern truss rod. It is fitted with 12"-radius fingerboard made of torrified maple with 22 frets. Scale length is 628.65 mm, nut width is 42.863 mm. The guitar further features the ABR-1 bridge, Stop Bar tailpiece, black top-hat knobs and Kluson Single Ring Tulip Button tuning keys.
