The Discovery Artisan 256 microscope is a portable digital microscope with an LCD screen and rechargeable battery that can be used for a variety of professional tasks. It can be utilized for quality control of metals, soldering, electronics, and clock repair. Moreover, it can be used for jewelry and art objects evaluation, viewing the structure of stones, coins, and other things. The microscope is user-friendly. It can work with a computer (Windows and Mac OS are supported) or TV, it also allows you to take pictures, record videos, and measure distances, angles, radii, and areas.

The image is formed by a built-in 5 camera with interpolation up to 12Mpx. The illumination around the objective includes 8 white LEDs with adjustable brightness. If you don’t need the illumination, you can turn it off. The microscope magnification range is from 20x to 500x, the focus can be adjusted in manual mode in the range from 0 to 30mm.

The microscope’s body is rubber-armored, which provides for a comfortable grip. The set includes a small stand. You can use it for long-term observation. For easy transportation of the microscope, a pouch is included.
